The lodge comprises 8 impressive ensuite chalets which come with a lounge, own viewing deck, and spacious bedrooms. There are two twin chalets, three doubles, one honeymoon, and two family chalets. All the chalets are well lit, skilfully decorated and very spacious. Other amenities include a Restaurant, communal swimming pool, sleep out deck, terrace, bar, and shop.
Leisure activities offered at Mkulumadzi include; Game-drives, some animals to look forward to seeing are; impala, grysbok, klipspringer, elephants, civets, buffalo, baboons etc. Boating safaris (subject to water levels), bush walks, tours of nearby villages, birding trips on the Shire River and to nearby Elephant Marsh and game-viewing from a hide. Child-friendly activities are also available. The lodge welcomes children of all ages and for this reason, meal times are flexible and guests can request kiddie’s meals. Adult guests are welcome to all meals and drinks.
